What we cover inside our mushroom workshops
Cullen kicks off the day with a disscussion around safety protocols, ensuring participants dont get lost or hurt throughout the event.
Chantal then covers the sustainabilty and protection part of the day. Encouraging participants to collect litter, and forage sustainably.
Alec then gives the group talk about the mushroom identification 101 guide so that everyone has a strong foundational understanding of the mushroom kingdom before setting off into the forest to start the day of exploration.
Throughout our time together, photographers will be drifting through the woods, quietly capturing the magic as you uncover the hidden gems of the forest floor. To keep your spirits bright and energy high, we might surprise the group with a few thoughtful refreshments from our healthy drink and snack sponsors.
Midway through, you’ll have the chance to wander off with a partner for some peaceful foraging. Once we’ve all gathered our finds, we’ll meet back in a cozy circle where our three guides will help identify each treasure, sharing interesting facts and traditional use cases.
It’s a gentle daytime workshop designed to get you out into the fresh air, connecting with the community, and rediscovering the incredible natural world we call home.
