Alec Scott picked up an interest in mushrooms during lockdown in 2020. After foraging for them in the local forests, he found a tremendous amount of respect for the world of fungi. Leading to the birth of what he hopes to be the leading brand, connecting humans to mycelium once again. The Mushroom Box.

The Mushroom Box is all about inspiring others to take interest in nature, sustainability & natural medicine.

We do this by providing Mushroom Workshops. Teaching others to forage, grow and utilize mushrooms in Cape Town.

AND by providing products that allow others to access these fantastic fungi. Such as the famous mushroom grow boxes and our range of capsules.
