Step 1: Choose Your Magic Box 📦 Pick your favorite mushroom! Will it be the fluffy white Lion’s Mane? Or the beautiful Blue Oyster, or the bright Pink/gold Oyster? Each box is a "sleeping" mushroom colony waiting for you to wake it up.

Step 2: Find the Perfect Home 🏠 Mushrooms love a cozy, shady spot. You can put your box in a quiet corner of your home, but for the best results, use a Grow Tent. This keeps the air perfectly damp, just like a real forest floor!
..
Step 3: The Big Opening ✂️ Have an adult help you use a clean blade to carefully cut a big "X" on the front of the box. This tells the mushrooms exactly where to grow out and say hello!
.
.
Step 4: The Waiting Game ⏳ Be patient! If you’re using a grow tent, spray the inside walls with water and zip it up tight. This creates the "misty morning" vibe mushrooms love. Soon, you’ll see tiny bumps called "pins" starting to pop up. .
Step 5: Let Them Breathe! 🌬️ Once the mushrooms start growing, they need to breathe! Open up your tent and crack a nearby window. An abundance of fresh air helps the mushrooms expand into big, beautiful shapes.
.
Step 6: Harvest Time! 🍴 When they look big and delicious (but before they start dropping white dust called spores), it’s time to pick them! Twist gently at the base. Now, head over to our recipe blogs to cook up a mushroom feast!
.
Step 7: Prep for Round Two 🔄 Your box isn't finished yet! After harvesting, use a clean fork to scrape away any leftover stems from the opening. Keep the box in its shady, humid spot, and it should grow again in about 2–3 weeks.Step 8: The Fridge Trick (Cold Shock) ❄️ If your mushrooms are being shy and haven't grown back after 2 weeks, try a "Cold Shock." Put the box in the fridge for 24 hours. This makes the mycelium think the seasons are changing, which "wakes them up" to grow again!
.

.
Step 9: Back to Nature 🌳 Is your box finally tired? Don't throw it away! Take the white block (the mycelium) out of the box and bury it in your garden near a tree stump or under wood mulch. They will help your veggies thrive and might even pop up as wild mushrooms later!
