Our freshly harvested Farmer’s Mushroom Mix is grown right here in South Africa — this is as fresh as it gets. Every single box is harvested to order and available for collection at the Oranjezicht City Farm Market in Cape Town.
What’s in the box?
Each box features a beautifully curated, hand-picked seasonal selection from our farm. Because we harvest based on what is perfectly ripe each week, every box contains a random mix of what’s available, with a minimum of 4 different varieties, which may include:

Lion’s Mane – Fluffy, meaty, and gourmet.

King Oyster – Thick, savoury, and perfect for slicing.

Blue Oyster – Stunning, velvety clusters with a deep, earthy flavour.

What does it taste like?
A true culinary adventure! From the mild, sweet, and subtly seafood-like flavour of Lion’s Mane (think crab or scallop without the ocean) to the rich, umami depth of Portobellos and the delicate crunch of Shimeji.
How to cook them: Keep it simple to let the natural flavours shine. Toss your mix into a hot pan with butter, a little garlic, and a pinch of salt. Watch them develop a stunning golden crust while retaining a tender, meaty centre. This mix is exceptional for elevated stir-fries, rich risottos, creamy pastas, or simply seared on sourdough toast.
